Just a quick update. Wow! Things have been so busy the past couple of weeks! The kids are all ready to go back to school, Dad's had his knee surgery, and I am at my new job ( and still at the old one for now).
Dad made it through surgery but, they couldn't do the partial replacement as planned. Basically the Doctor cleaned up the damage and now he can wait a little while to have a total knee replacement. I'll admit it~I am a Daddy's girl! So I really want to help out any way I can, but just like me, my Dad is a little stubborn and will not ask for help. I pray for Robyn everyday not to go crazy...now that his knee feels a little better, we all know it's a matter of time before he tries to do things he shouldn't be doing. The same week of his surgery we had our annual family reunion of sorts. I was happy that my brother, Josh, could make it home this time. This year also marked a couple firsts as well! It was the first time my cousin Kate's little boy, Kai, joined us! I can't believe he's been a member of the family almost a year now....he's so adorable! And finally the Haller's won the volleyball match with the help of our secret weapon, Kailey!
I started my new job this week and LOVE it! I'll go into more detail later...it's late and I need to jump off here!
